A lot happened this week with my move back to the Netherlands, so I needed to do a simple blog post today. Fortunately I finished my March video in time to share that with you! I am quite pleased with this video as it carries a lot of fond memories for me.
About the March video
The main event for March was my day trip to Llandudno with Saïda, which unfortunately turned out to be an extremely stormy day – but that only made this memory for me more fun! You can practically see us blowing away in the video.
Last month I wrote about the Treehouse Board Game Café in Sheffield, which I have returned to many times. In March I met up there with my friends Steph and Kelton.
Also featured in this video is a casual side project Saïda and I have been working on, which I enjoyed very much. It was some great bonding time for the both of us!
Music for March
The music for this month is Yam Yam by No Vacation. This song always pops up in my Spotify daily mixes, but I had never paid much attention to it. It’s got such good vibes though!
Off-screen March activities
March was a month with lots of off-screen activity. I was finishing my dissertation, sending off moving boxes to the Netherlands, and applying for jobs. I also watched a few films in cinema, finished a couple of books, and got feature in other projects.

I also got approached to be featured in a couple of things, like this Monzo promotion video (which I appear in for literally a second). Then Saïda and I were asked at the Mostyn gallery if they could take our pictures while we were browsing, which they will use for promotional purposes with our permission. On top of that, Creative Collective published a piece on me and my photography.
